Sylvia Stone wrote Seeing the Forest Through the Trees in the hopes of inspiring and encouraging people to find their higher selves by taking an in-depth look at some of the struggles of life and seeing the value in the scars that they have left In our hearts and minds. It is a story of a girl who endured many challenges throughout her life including family dysfunction, drugs, discovering sexuality, death, and much more. Her journey provoked a longing for inner peace.

My Community

I am constantly influenced by everyone around me. If there’s one thing that all of us have in common, it’s the struggles that we endure. As we share our stories with one another, we learn to become more compassionate and empathetic. We find a deeper understanding, through mindfulness, of the blessings in disguise we would have otherwise overlooked. I am thankful for all people, good and bad, to show us the way to the true path of love, forgiveness and a collective peace That brings our hearts together to make our world a better place
